I look for the machine underneath the business.
VicunaWorks is the work of Assad Siddiqi, a CFO turned operator who works with founder led businesses to turn what is already working into something more durable.
I spent my career as a CFO. The job was always the same: find the growth already sitting inside a business, in its pricing, its retention, its numbers, before anyone spent more on marketing. A coach with a proven hero offer or a studio with a real backlog runs on those same levers. They're just hiding under different words.
And I won't sell a discipline I'm not living. As I write this, I'm running my own slate with the exact operating system I'd run for you, because I don't trust advice from people who've never had to ship the thing they're advising on.
The growth is often already there.
Pricing. Sequencing. Margin. Cash. Customer value. Operating cadence. Most founder led businesses never get this lens applied to what they've built, because the people selling them services come from marketing, and the people who understand operations don't work with them.
Different businesses. Same question.
What is already working here that hasn't been fully built yet?
Economics before tactics.
What is a program or a project worth before we build it? Which one comes first, and why? The numbers decide, not the trend.
Sequence before scale.
Each thing you ship should lower the cost of the next and raise the value of the last. What is expensive the first time is cheap the third time.
The founder stays the voice.
Your name stays on the work because the work is yours. What I take off your plate is the operation, the pricing, the packaging, the unglamorous machinery. You stay the reason anyone is buying. I stay invisible.
